The Instrumax Flight Demonstration Unit is a compact educational aerodynamic platform designed to demonstrate basic aircraft flight, stability, control, and airflow behavior. With a 250 mm × 450 mm test section and air speed up to 20 m/s, it allows students to observe pitch, altitude response, tail control, perturbation effects, center of gravity adjustment, and aircraft stability in a controlled airflow environment.
The unit includes a transparent test section, stable aircraft support, adjustable CG mechanism, axial airflow system, digital measurement, microcontroller-based control, and PC-based monitoring software. The center of gravity can be set at the normal 1/4 chord position or adjusted forward and aft to study its effect on aircraft stability and dynamic response, making the system suitable for hands-on teaching, laboratory experiments, and applied research in flight mechanics, aerodynamics, and control systems.
